LUNAR NEW YEAR Bookings
-
Lion dancing is a traditional Chinese performance art that involves a team of dancers mimicking a lion's movements. The performance is typically characterised by the use of a lion costume, which is worn by two performers, one handling the head and the other managing the body.
The lion dance is an integral part of various cultural celebrations, notably during the Lunar New Year, weddings, and significant festivities. It is believed to bring good luck, ward off evil spirits, and promote prosperity. The dance is often accompanied by vibrant music played on drums, gongs, and cymbals, creating a lively atmosphere.
